Lots of little changes over here that I hope will soon add up to some big changes. If you don’t track with me on Facebook or Twitter, you may not know that my wife and I now have *four* kids—and we’re slowly settling into a new chaos.
For starters, I’ve made some big resolutions for 2015, and one of them has to do with performing more this year than I have in the past. In fact, I’ve got a big goal: I want to play triple the number I’ve played with all of my bands combined in the last 5 years! Book a show today.
On the Dragon Room Studio side, I’ve recently made some equipment upgrades—a new microphone preamp, to be exact. If you’re not sure what that is, that’s okay. Just know that it has already made a significant difference (READ: improvement) in the quality of the recordings which I am able to produce. You can here this new piece of gear all over the brand new Restoration Project EP, Firm Foundation, Vol. 2.
Also, in addition to private guitar instruction, I recently began teaching bass guitar as well. So far, it’s been a lot of fun, but it’s also a lot of work. I’ve launched a sleeker lessons website to make it easier (more appealing?) for prospective students. Next on the list will be an updated video and photos.
