The winter months keep us indoors. I’m taking what little time I have these days and turning even further inside—searching deep for inspiration. Songwriting. Writing new synthesizer patches. And designing the new studio space in St. Charles.

1. Songwriting. The passion has never died. I continue to write, though the songs have been coming slower and more painfully. Perhaps, because I’m being more honest than ever. (Post coming soon on a new song I’m cooking.)

2. Argo. Hours in the coffeeshop. Most of Midday was written in coffeehouse a with headphones on. The new ATS album should come in late 2015, alongside a possible Kickstarter campaign. http://argotheship.com

3. Studio Design. It’s been in the works since June, when my wife and I bought our first house. And assuming I don’t make a crazy family trip to Idaho this summer, I’ll have the cash to complete the entire studio building project by next December. Looking forward to designing the space of my dreams this winter.
